The target audience that I have chosen to aim my magazine at is teenagers from the ages of 15-21, I feel that this is an appropriate age because the type of music that I enjoy and would appeal to people that are included in this age group. I think that it will appeal to both types of genders because they normally do enjoy the same forms of music. As well as this group being known for showing a great interest in music with their iPods and other kinds of mp3’s.  A huge amount of the people in this target audience shows that they have a great interest in the kind of music that my music magazine is being based on. This target audience is also well known for buying music magazines to catch up on their favourite artists, or any possible upcoming tours.
